What’s New in Jungle Rungle?

This update introduces core gameplay enhancements that improve both progression and player experience. Whether you’re chasing high scores or playing casually, these changes are designed to make every run more engaging.

⭐ New Scoring System Explained

We completely revamped the whole scoring system from ground up. Previously it was based on only the number of steps player covered ignoring everything else, but now its based on all of your activity. Everything that you do from killing goblins, defeating boss enemies and breaking barrels count towards your total score. This makes the scoring system more competitive and satisfying, especially for players aiming to top leaderboards.

⭐ Why Localization Matters for Players Worldwide

We just localized Jungle Rungle into 10 most popular languages. we used LLMs along with some local persons to make the translations. it was alot harder than we expected and took a long time. This is a major step toward making Jungle Rungle a truly worldwide endless runner experience.

How we localized our game into 10 different languages.

Its simple but does take some time. start from a base language, probably english, then make a spreadsheet of every word and sentence used in your game. now just take this spreadsheet to AI model like claude or chatgpt to get the translations to other languages. after this you can directly import this spreadsheet into the Unity Localization Window.
