One Piece: Pirate Warriors 1 & 2

PS3, PS Vita

Starting with Number 10, we actually have two games which released on PlayStation 3. These are One Piece Pirate Warriors 1 and 2. The the first one follows the story from beginning to the Marineford Arc. You can play as one of Straw Hat Pirates and choose other characters like Whitebeard! Pulling off super moves to rack up a kill counter is fun, but it gets repetitive after a while. Then comes the sequel Pirate Warriors 2, which takes the story to a non-canonical plot where Looffy’s crew members turns against him after inhaling a strange mist. You don’t need to have played the first to get what’s going on in the second. The first game’s story is a remake for the pre-timeskip arcs in the anime, and the second game is an all new what-if story with better replayability and mechanics.

#9

Burning Blood

PS4, Xbox One, PS Vita, PC – Steam

On Number 9, we have One Piece Burning Blood. Whenever a beloved anime gets its own video game, it’s no surprise that it often turns out to be an arena fighter. And this One Piece game is no exception! It focuses on a 3 vs 3 combat system, allowing you to switch characters during battles. You get to unleash all those signature moves from the anime, which adds a thrilling touch to the experience. Playing as Law or Shanks can be incredibly fun, but honestly; it also falls into the same middle of the road category, much like other games in its genre. It’s enjoyable, but it doesn’t bring anything groundbreaking to the table. Still, if you’re up for action-packed battles and want to immerse yourself in the One Piece world, it’s worth a shot.

#8

One Piece (GBA)

Game Boy Advance

On number 8, we have One Piece from the Game Boy Advance. It’s a true classic for the GBA platform, but you can play it on any device using an emulator. This game brings the early One Piece story to life in an exciting beat ’em up format, and it’s surprisingly good for old title. You get to control Looffy’s rubber limbs as he dashes from left to right, smashing everyone in his way. The fun factor here is way higher than you’d expect from a game like this!, making it an enjoyable experience for anyone diving into the game for the first time. The combination of platform, hybrid, and versus stages keeps the gameplay fresh, ensuring you don’t get bored anytime soon.

#7

#6

One Piece: World Seeker

PS4, Xbox One, PC – Steam, Google Stadia

Coming on Number 6, we have One Piece World Seeker. It is a open-world adventure that incorporates an entirely new world and storyline for one piece universe. There’s a decent amount of fun to be had with this one as you catapult Loofy all over the place and engage in some epic clashes with familiar faces. The game’s combat mechanics are enjoyable, allowing players to utilize Loofy’s range of abilities to take down enemies in short brawls. Its open-world design is both its strength and weakness. While the freedom to roam and side missions are fun, the world occasionally feels sparse and lacking in activities. If you’re a die-hard One Piece enthusiast, this game is worth giving a shot.
