GWENT: THE WITCHER CARD GAME
(Card Strategy, Free, No Ads) ★4.6
This is a great FREE TO PLAY card game and a pretty close version of The Witcher 3 version, but it does have a few key differences. It definitely is streamlined, and is much more fun. It’s a turn-based affair that offers fast duels that combine bluffing, on-the-fly decision making, and careful deck construction. You start with 10 cards from your deck in hand, able to play any card right from the start. It is free-to-play, but some players do claim that the game is pay-to-win. as for the down side the matchmaking can be frustrating sometimes, especially for new players. For everyone who has played The Witcher 3, it is like a dream come true.
REVENTURE
(Adventure, Paid, No Ads) ★4.6
it is a paid ad-free pixel style adventure game that is very worth it. Reventure is an adorable platformer that offers hundreds of different endings, which is something you don’t typically see in a mobile game. This is also a highly humorous platformer that somewhat works like a choose your own adventure. it has many characters, costumes, visual effects etc and Makes you want to play over and over again for different ending. while the platforming gameplay holds its own, it’s the unique design of this release that makes it a title that shouldn’t be missed. Best of all, this is a premium release, so what you see is precisely what you get! in our opinion its one of the best android games april 2020!
TEAMFIGHT TACTICS: LEAGUE OF LEGENDS
(Strategy, Free, No Ads) ★3.7
from the Riot Games the creators of League of Legends, its one massive release on android. Teamfight Tactics is Strategy Game, a PvP auto-battler where you’ll you’ll draft, deploy, and upgrade from a revolving roster of League of Legends champions. Essentially, it’s an auto-chess game. This standalone mobile title mirrors the auto-battle mode found in the PC version of LoL, and cross-platform play is expected between PC and mobile. you’ll build an squad of champions to fight on your behalf, make combinations of them by placing multiple units of same attribute, which gives you strong bonuses. Strategic planning remains key to win the fights. it has Zero pay to win factor, and if you like auto-chess games, its one of the best.
MISSILE COMMAND: RECHARGED
(Arcade, Paid, Has Ads) ★4.2
it takes the tried and true missile shooting formula of the original, and adds on top some interesting powerups while providing an upgrade path for advancement. The touch controls work well, and the game is supported by ads that can be removed through a single in-app purchase. it is very true to the original, especially the retro, vector style graphics. you will Love the fast paced arcade action where you defend bases by blasting an endless barrage of missiles hailing from the sky. All in all, this is a polished and fairly priced release that’s fun, controls great, so it’s definitely worth spending some time with. Don’t miss out on this one folks.
DISNEY SORCERER’S ARENA
(Strategy, Free, Has Ads) ★4.3
this is a free-to-play turn-based RPG, and the focus is on PvP, which means you’ll have to build a team, raise their stats, all so you can eventually have a team strong enough to hold its own in the PvP mode. Of course, since this is a free-to-play release, those who spend money will have a much easier time building a powerful team that’s ready for competition. there are almost all Disney and Pixar legends available in this game like Mickey mouse, Alladin, Simba, hercules etc. The game is fun and you can build your balanced team with damage dealers, healers, and tanks. It feels good to see your favorite childhood characters come to life.
HERO FACTORY
(Simulation, Free, Has Ads) ★4.4
it is a fun and easy-to-play idle RPG where you use heroes that you have mass-produced in factories to defeat monsters. you can Upgrade your factories with the gold you’ve earned by defeating the monsters to send even more and stronger heroes. also you can Equip helmets and weapons on your heroes for additinal stats. there are good Variety of Hero Types like Swordsmen, Archers, Mages, Lancers, Gunners etc. Overall its very addictive game and could be substantially better with some more balance changes. Also worth mentioning sometime Ad rewards tend to not end up being rewarded due to bugs.
MASK UP
(Action, Free, No Ads) ★4.8
it is something of an odd game. At first, you’d think it’s just some sort of low-effort work by looking at its graphics, but once you boot it up, you’ll see that this is a well thought out game that just happens to look like it was designed in Microsoft Paint. The idea behind this release is that it’s a title you explore, just to see how far you can get. There are plenty of secrets to discover, and of course, there are many enemies to defeat, and you’ll do all of this by simply tapping on your screen. Best of all, the title is completely free to play and has its place in our list of best android games april 2020.
BLEACH: IMMORTAL SOUL
(Role Playing, Free, No Ads) ★4.3
it is the latest anime game based on anime called BLEACH. Like most games of this nature, this title is also a gacha game that offers a few RPG mechanics. A story is included, and it’s original to the game, so that’s something for the anime series fans. the artstyle is okay okay, as we still think the anime looks far better than the game. Animation and reaction times are pretty smooth though and there is plenty of free stuff. Also, you can improve the quality of main character through the game. The game does give out good amount of premium currency but it still may feel like forcing you to spend money to get best out of it.
WAR OF THE VISIONS FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS
(Simulation, Free, Has Ads) ★4.0
it finally released this week with an English translation, allowing those in the West to finally join the fun. the game is solid in terms of music, artwork and gameplay. it has tactical battles, presented in 3D terrains with various elevations and heroes climb and attack based on their move and jump values. It definitely scratches that final fantasy itch of players but Sadly this turn-based strategy game is monetized poorly, and on top of that, it’s a gacha game with bad drop rates, so spending money is going to be the primary way to succeed at this title, but somehow it is still in best android games april 2020 list.
NARUTO X BORUTO NINJA TRIBES
(Role Playing, Free, Has Ads) ★3.9
it is the latest Bandai Namco release for naruto anime series fans like many already. it plays just like every other team-based RPG that utilizes card mechanics, which we confirmed by playing the game. While it’s definitely apparent that the game’s art is phenomenal, the gameplay and plethora of bugs mean this title does little to separate itself from the crowd of similar free-to-play RPGs. Many players dont mind spending some money if the reward is decent but the gacha system in this game is way too expensive. Overall it feels like Bandai Namco is just using naruto games as a cash grab now!
